Upgrade Alert..Bobby's(Saldarya) Old Tank

113 posts in this topic

Been a while...kids have been keeping us busy and haven't done much to the tank in the last few months. I made a trip to Coral Fever on Friday and picked up an Orange Shoulder Tang and a Leopard Wrasse, both were eating at the store. Orange Shoulder is doing really well, eating everything I throw in the tank. I haven't seen the Leopard Wrasse since intro and hope he makes an appearance soon. Was doing some maintenance and took some pics...enjoy! Merten's nem has pretty much fully recovered from a Vortech incident and all is headed in the right direction. Thanks for following along!IMG_2237.thumb.JPG.b168c63bfd74b3d7cb0e28e21525e312.JPGIMG_2238.JPG.b4133374f1f164646f4577fbd0b6b12f.JPGIMG_2234.thumb.JPG.22c0fe63a8f64a4a6234b0ce2ba9eef6.JPGIMG_2235.JPG.38793efb5b96a9ff11f4491b5303b8d6.JPGIMG_2239.thumb.JPG.1f0fb3fb59fa1122072f7cc4c1b6c256.JPGIMG_2241.thumb.JPG.3f26175e51a157b43160d2624f737ae4.JPGIMG_2232.thumb.JPG.d1ce9022e75498159da578acf9fac5ce.JPG

Got a Live Aquaria gift certificate for Christmas and ordered some new fish from Divers Den...couldn't pass on the Clown Tang(know he could be a PITA in the future), but also ordered a Foxface Lo and Trio of Azure Damsels(had them before, but they all disappeared). Lastly, ordered a photosynthetic red sponge. Let me know what you think...I'm not a Facebook guy(I'll die before I go that route) so all who are with me give me a shout out! Thanks!

Nice clown tang. I too was against Facebook but now that I'm a part of like twenty reef groups and fishing and hunting groups its not so bad. Just more of the stuff I already like.

Nice additions!

No problem with shipping from Live Aquaria? I read a couple horror stories last week where customers ordered from LA, but FedEx jacked the shipments up..

Also, keep us posted on the FoxFace. I'm wanting to add some yellow to my reef, but refuse to add a yellow tang!

I had no issues with LA...I have only ordered from Diver's Den...don't know if they take extra care with those shipments or not.  Foxface got chased by the Kole Tang early on, but has settled in since intro.

Foxface was missing...guess I found him--or what's left of him.IMG_2379.thumb.JPG.37c2d21825f56482e353e55ec0e1aeec.JPG

My clowns have been laying eggs like clockwork for 8+ years...never seen this before. They laid a new clutch before the previous clutch hatched. Anybody else seen this?IMG_2381.thumb.JPG.3a04dc72f7445a1d18e91d0f10068a6c.JPG
