    Zoa ID please

Does anyone know the names of these zoas? None of them had names with them when I bought them. Thanks!
  2. I'm looking to upgrade from a 20 long to a 36 bowfront with a sump. I understand the general concept of a sump and how it works, I just don't know where to start when it comes to drilling the tank, and what baffles to use/where to get them. I'd appreciate any help or even if anyone knows good links that will help. so far I haven't come across one that has answered everything. thanks!

    Red macro and zoas

I have a nice clump of red gracilaria. It's starting to get too big and taking up a lot of room so I'm looking to trim it down. Would anyone be interested in some? I can frag it onto a plug or you can have it as trimmings. I also have some red zoas too or I can frag a couple polpys off the others if anyone wants to trade?

    New reefer

Oh geez I'm sorry to hear that. My sister lives in Albany and they flooded as well. I had to take in their goldfish until they finish moving. Then I met a lady in the lfs that was in the process of tearing her take down since she flooded as well. She ended up giving me all her live rock (~15lbs) she said she wanted to give it to someone who would appreciate it rather than try to sell it or let it "die out". I admire people like that who have lost so much but yet still want to give. I appreciate the warm welcomes and offers for advice. I'm sure I'll be needing it whenever things start to progress. And if there's anything I can do for you or anyone nearby, please let me know!

these were really the only few corals they had. Didn't have many fish either but they are getting a new shipment in today. Corals won't be in until next week though.

Thanks everyone! Well I'm still trying to figure out how to add pictures haha I'm on my phone so I'm not sure if that changes things? I'm going by the lfs to look at some corals today after I finish up my last class and will try to post some pictures with a few questions about them

Hey everyone. I'm new to the saltwater side, but I've had many different freshwater tanks over the years. I'm a college nursing student so I don't have too much free time but when I do, it goes to the hobby. Right now I have a 20 long that has been up for a couple months. Fully cycled, CUC, and macro algae all set. Now it's time for stocking and corals! Still doing a lot of research and looking around. I don't want to jump into this fast and mess things up.
