  1. Crash, 100% loss

Did you test the salinity of the water? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  2. Labor Day sales

Anyone know of any places that have any special prices in coral including free delivery? Thanks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  3. Sloping sand

I am considering using a sloping sand approach in my new jbj 45 setup. Anyone ever done this before and have any advice on how to make it work? I would imagine that without any supports the sand would revert to more of a level position over time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  4. Damaged Frogspawn

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I cant move him down because I super glued him to the LR. I dont carbon dose either, but I will try to direct feed him. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  5. Damaged Frogspawn

Definitelt indirect. I have about 290 gph in a 20 gallon tank and the pump isnt directly facing the frogspawn. It looks to me that the tissue which has fallen off is the tissue that as damaged. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  6. Damaged Frogspawn

Now it looks like some of the inner flesh is coming out. Still dont see any jelly substance fortunately. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  7. Damaged Frogspawn

Thanks. I assume if it is BJD, it would form on tge surface and be pretty visible? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  8. Damaged Frogspawn

Not yet. I have been on the lookout for BJD. So far, what you see in the picture is pretty much all there is to see. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  9. Damaged Frogspawn

So last week I ordered two heads of frogspawn. Apparently, during the delivery process with UPS some of the polyps got damaged and have since fallen off. Looking for advice as to what to do. Leave alone? Remove the entire head? Thanks in advance. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  10. Need advice

Are they for sale? Can you post pictures? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  11. Need advice

My twenty gallon tank has a small hairline fracture at the top. I plan to replace soon with 30 or 40 gallon tank that has a sump. Any recommendations? I have LPS coral. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  12. Three day total blackout works wonders

I have yet to dump any chemicals into my tank although I have heard that Phos RX apparently works wonders Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337Z using Tapatalk
  13. Wow. Just finished a 3 day blackout and boom! All the algae is completely gone. Wasn't sure if I would see results like this. Now I just need to resurrect my corals from the dark lol. How often can I do this? Crazy thing is my tank is 8 months old and I have a protein skimmer, only feed my fish every other day with minimal feedings and do 25% water changes every week so I am a bit puzzled as to why I even have an algae issue at all. Can't imagine the electric bill from those lights!
  15. Live Jellyfish Cam - 9am to 8pm Daily

When I lived in California I visited Monterrey Bay Aquarium regularly. This was one of my favorite exhibits. That and the sea horses and watching see otters swim in the kelp just feet from the aquarium.
