  1. Last week I purchased an AquaMaxx ConeS CO-1 from Marine Depot because I thought that my JNS U-2 skimmer had pump problems, but it turned out to be a snail clogging the inlet. Just for kicks I ran the CO-1 for 7 days to compare performance with my JNS and it's quite identical. I don't have any use for multiple skimmers, so I might as well sell the new one. Up for sale is a new AquaMaxx ConeS CO-1 (about 1 week use on it). It sells at $289.99 shipped on Marine Depot here: Looking to get $250 shipped or $235 picked up in Metairie.
  2. I am unsure, but I had it in the second chamber of a 29 biocube and it fit tightly but perfectly.
  3. I just sumped my tank and no longer need the following equipment. Anyone that knows me knows that I spare no expense when it comes to equipment and I am not afraid to sell and buy until I found stuff that works. In both of these cases, these products are great for nano aquariums. CAD Lights PLS-50 Needlewheel Skimmer sold This skimmer is about 1.5 years old and works like a champ for its size. It constantly pulled out a great skimmate foam in my tank and was downright smelly at times. JBJ NanoGlo Refugium LED sold This refugium light is less than 1 month old and grows chaeto like crazy. This is the sought after magnet version. I converted to a much larger refugium and need a larger light, otherwise I would not be selling this.
  4. Were headed to Orlando next week so I was going to see if you might be on our way. But Lafayette isn't. Sorry. Thanks for your interest.
  5. Pending sale. If you would like a pair of clowns check my other thread.
  6. I have a pair of Ocellaris clownfish that have been in my tank about two years. These two are super healthy and active. They host all of my BTAs and feed them during feed times. The female is a tad aggressive, but she is in a BTA tank that is under 30 gallons so that is to be expected. Female is approx. 2.5 to 3-in. Male is approx. 2-in. Looking to get $35 for the pair. Also selling some RBTA here: and would do $100 cash for the two clowns and the three RBTA.
  7. I have a few too many Rose Bubble Tip Anemones so I am selling a few that are on my back glass and easy to remove. The anemones for sale are approximately 2.5 to 3.5 inches and are red and purple at their the base with green and red tentacles. Some of these do have a bit of purple on the tips and fluoresce a greenish yellow under strong actinic lighting. Some sell these as rainbow BTA, even. I am asking $30 per anemone and have three for sale. Will do the lot of 3 for $80 cash. I will not ship. I would like to sell these immediately, as I am going out of town for a week and these will probably go back onto the rock soon. I did my best here, but the actinics can be a bear to get decent shots under.
  8. Great to hear! It was a pleasure meeting you two, as well. Good luck with your tank. I will keep you posted on the sumping of the biocube. In the meantime, enjoy this picture of my current nano skimmer cup compared to the monster going under the stand soon.
  9. I am selling an Evergrow IT2040. It is less than two years old and comes with the remote, power cord, hanging kit, and fixture. I really enjoyed my tank under this light, but I came across a very good deal on a radion so I am selling this. This light is identical to the Reef Breeders Photon 16 except that it has a better LED layout which includes warm whites (4x3500K and 6x6500K) instead of the many cool whites that Reef Breeders sells in their place. The light has a built in controller that lets you adjust the spectrum entirely and also has moonlights built in. Great fixture! $160 shipped. $145 picked up SOLD
