As you know I have a ton of honey do projects to finish before my tank can be set up... Here is one project I can mark off my list.. I took down our old shutters I built new ones to dress up the windows..

How much did this project cost? I need to do the same. How did you hang them?
I sold my tank for this

It was about $50 a window.. Drilled into the brick and inserted rubber screw inserts.. Used black heavy duty gate hinges

What kind of wood did you use? Did you have to use any special tools?
I sold my tank for this

I used white board and routed the edge of each board.. Other than that I used a drill and screws...

That turned out great!  I hate to be the one to add stuff to my honey do list but this may have to go on there.

I'm guessing your joking, but if not I sanded the paint off the beam above the garage and stained it.

looks like he put a header above the garage and stained it and then built a shoe rack / storage area for the wife.
